#MiniMasterpieceMonday: Music to Go Go

Title:  “Music to Go Go” • Size:  6″x 6″ • Mixed Media

This retro modern mixed media artwork is from my Mini Masterpiece Monday series.  The dark blue background and aqua circles are hand painted, with acrylics, on a 6″x6″ stretched canvas.  It features an illustration of two people next to a portable record player which is cut from a vintage record album sleeve.  Canvas is painted around the edge and can be hung without a frame.  Makes a unique personal gift for a music lover.

I salvage damaged record album covers and sleeves and incorporate them into fine art pieces, giving them a new life.

Record Spotlight:  Dave Brubeck Octet

🎹🎷Original Dave Brubeck 10″ LP. My copy has some damage, but still plays through. Cherry red 🔴 vinyl and album art is a vivid fascinating image. Don’t know anything about the 🎨 artist, comment if you know about him.
